‘Love, Death & Robots’: 400 Boys

Commissioned by Netflix and created by Tim Miller and David Fincher, Love, Death & Robots: 400 Boys, directed by Robert Valley, is set in a post-apocalyptic city ruled by gangs bound to a bushido-like code, it follows the arrival of a new, enigmatic crew that threatens the fragile balance of power. It’s a story of chaos, honor, and forced unity, rendered with raw emotion, stylised motion, and hard-edged beauty.

I was the CG Lead and generalist in a small team of CG artists that’s aim was to enhance and not overpower Robert Valley’s signature style. I had many roles on this project including modelling, texturing, lighting, camera animation, object tracking and layout.
